Our Logo

Our study logo was designed by Dr Lorena Jiménez Sánchez in consultation with the study team including our young people project partners. The red dome shape represents muscle and the project’s focus on musculoskeletal pan. The grey cog shape represents executive functions i.e. the thinking skills needed to carry out self-management tasks, with the grey colour chosen to represent the brain’s “grey matter”. At the core is the household, which is set against a yellow sky or sun to reflect the project’s focus on potential effects of parental support and socioeconomic influences on young peoples’ abilities to complete self-management tasks.
